After a year of negotiations, your negotiating committee has reached a tentative agreement with the Company. Without your solidarity and support, this would not have been possible. Highlights of the proposed tentative agreement are attached below.
In accordance with District 142 By-Laws, your committee will work to compile copies of the Tentative Agreement, for the membership’s review. Once those documents are completed, they will be shipped to the department, as well as placed on the District 142 web page.
We will be establishing a date and times for membership meetings to explain the tentative agreement and answer any questions. We will also conduct the ratification vote after these meetings.
Your committee unanimously recommends ratification of this agreement.
